What One Needs To Learn About Yellow Turbans

By Tamika Quinn

Yellow turbans also referred to as yellow headbands or scarfs are a form of cloth winding headwear that is worn over the head or cap. Turbans are worn in various countries like India, Afghanistan and Indonesia amongst several others. A turban is known by different terms such as bulle, dastar and pagri.

Dastars are put on for by different reasons and by various people. They are used by women, desert dwellers, Muslim religious leaders, Sikh men, children, Indian men and Iranian leaders. The purposes include regional requirements, fashion, religious practices, ranks held and responsibilities held. Kurdish dastars are put on for identification of the locality and clan of the wearer.

Desert inhabitants use bulles for protecting their faces against dust and for disguising themselves. A Sikh bulle is used for covering their head whose hair is never cut or trimmed as a religious requirement. The hair of the Sikhs is usually combed, winded and folded up in the dastar. Members of Rastafari movement wear pagris to keep their dreadlocks and beards clean. They also help distinguish them from the rest as they are a small assembly of persons.

The type of turban worn by Sikh men in battle fields is referred to as Dumalla. These turbans have a symbol of a crescent and a dual edged sword. Woven chainmail cords hold the sign in place and it is used to shield the head of fighter from slashing weapons. Yellow scarves are connected with certain groups of people who revolted against different unjust powers in nations such as china.

Members of the troop wore yellow clothing and headbands as an identity symbol. They fought against heavy taxes and unjust treatment. They considered the taxes a burden to the hungry and the poor. Principles of equivalent rights to every one and equal allocation of resources were taught so as to unify the groups. Their slogans were spread by the poor and through services like free treatment.

Bulles come in various colors such as saffron orange, deep blue and white. These colors have varied meanings. The orange color is connected with wisdom. Royal blue turbans can represent royalty and high ranks as they are commonly worn by Indian Sikh ministers. Other colors may have no specific meanings as they get used for fashion so as to match the clothes that the wearer has.

It is a primary thought among several people that bulles are strictly worn by Arabs and Muslims. The reality is they are put on by many people including certain members of the Christian dominion. The disadvantage with putting on pagris is that certain states link them to some terrorist groups. Innocent individuals may be harassed or denied entrance in some states for wearing bulles. It is good that people be trained about these head wears to avoid such problems.

When looking for high quality yellow turbans there are lots of online companies that sell them at very low prices. A person is only needed to give the manufacturers the necessary shipping details after making payment. Details concerning such companies are obtainable on their consumer care websites on the internet.
