All About Yellow Turbans And What They Entail

Yellow turbans are worn and have been worn by people from different parts of the world. They are pieces of cloth used to cover the head. They have been used in Asia by the Sikh faithful and Islamic countries in the Eastern part of the world and North Africa. In each of these cultures they have different significance. The turban color and design will depend on the community from which one comes from and also their religion.

Another group of people who use them this type of clothing are religious extremist group in Afghanistan. Their main aim of using this head covering is to ensure that their faces cannot be recognized . The September attack lead to mistreatment of individuals who wear head coverings and keep long beards. The reason was that the criminals who planned the attacks had the same appearance. They were therefore associated with terrorism.

Religious leaders have used this clothing to cover their heads for many years. They use it to identify themselves from other groups of people. It is also use to show commitment to their faith. Another reason for its use is to protect ones head from dust. They also use it show that all men are equal and none is less important that the other. They also use it to keep their hair and head clean.

To do away with the caste system the religious leader introduced the use of this clothing to promote equality for all human beings. The caste system divided people into high and low classes showing that some human beings were better than others. Initially it was only worn by people in the high class.

This head clothing come in a variety of styles. In some community during special religious days people wear different styles, during joyous occasions they wear those that are tied differently. This is because each style has a different meaning depending on the type of event or ceremony.

The head coverings that have camouflage makes are used by those in military. Not all colors have meaning among the spiritual leader one will choose most colors according to their preference. What most people consider is how well they fit in with their entire clothing.

The nomadic tribes living in North Africa have also been known to use this type of clothing mainly to protect them from dust due to the harsh winds in the desert. The color of the clothing was also used to distinguish different community living in the same area. This is because they were governed by different rules and regulations.

In several communities, they are mainly worn by the religious leaders. In a Muslim community yellow turbans differ in design and style. To them the several styles signify paradise. Some designs are associated with holiness. They first wear a cap then put wrap the clothing on top. Some individuals in the west do not cover their heads with these cloths, only a small number of them do. The leaders in Iran prefer white or black ones. These head coverings trace their roots in the current Iran which was previously known as Persia.
