How To Build Fireworks Enclosures

By Gabriel Mihalache

When it comes to fireworks, my guidance to work with high quality elements. This is also applicable in terms of fireworks boxes. Of course that we can improvise using plastic boxes but, we can get into the risk area as we won't have control. And having control is crucial when it comes to making fireworks.

What we can use for enclosure? Let's see:

Paper tubes:

The paper tubes are cylindrical enclosures made out of paper or cardboard. These come in different measures, with diverse lengths as well as wall thickness. The kind of paper tube is chosen according to the fireworks chemical that we use along with the quantity of this very chemical. I purchase my own tubes from pyrocreations.

They've now have many different sizes of tubes. You have your selection of spiral wound or details in your color choice of red, silver or natural Kraft on select measures. Usual or ultra heavy walls can be obtained. You need to realize that all their own tubes are weighed on very accurate electronic weighing scales, not counted. So you might be one or two above or beneath. Counting every one by hand would definitely take a long time.

Plastic shells:

The plastic shells are available in different shapes and sizes. The fuse hole also can may vary in diameter. Both the half of the plastic shell can easily join. In this manner we obtain a shell which can resist humidity.

Paper shells:

Similar to the plastic shells, the paper shells are available in different styles and sizes. The majority of them don't come with holes for fuse however those could be easily drilled.

You must utilize some gummed tape to keep the two half of a shell with each other.

For the majority of my fireworks I take advantage of paper shells due to the fact that are definitely more practical. Usually I put smaller shells inside a bigger one.

There have been occasions when I didn't have a big enough plastic shell and I needed to make myself one.
