In the event you missed the 1st episode of Jersey Shore in Italy, here's a quick summarization to get you update.
The episode starts with the usual Jersey Shore antics that kick off every season. The Jersey eight are each racing to prepare for their trip to Italy with a large amount of cut aways to bags being full of too much clothing. By far one of the best parts of the show is watching the crew go take their passport photographs, which all of them treat like a glamour shoot for a mag cover. JWoww shows the girls off of course, while Snooki works several poses, which seems hilarious considering it's only her head that'll be used in the final image.
In Italy, the gang wonders the streets trying to find their place, racing to get to their new home to get the ever coveted first-dibs on the rooms. Of course all but Vinny don't speak a lick of Italian so they can not find the place. When they ultimately do find the place, the house is large and roomy and a lot nicer than the pad we normally see them in Jersey Shore.
Sam and Ron walk around awkwardly around one another while the remainder of the gang seems truly happy to see one another. Vinny and Pauly D appear more euphoric with their bromance, while curiously Mike and Snooki appeared to have a short lived love affair between seasons. This is by far the most fascinating tidbit made public in the episode. Mike Confides to Ronnie (Why Ronnie? Who knows) that he and Snooki hitched up several time in last couple months while she was with her boyfriend. Ronnie is clearly horrified and attempts to talk some sense into Mike, but Mike appears actually smitten with Snooki.
The episode ends with the common club scene where the gangs is dancing but just as the credits roll we see Mike a pass at Snooki, while the gang looks back it disgust. What comes next, we'll have to see.
