The Summer of London

By Ella White

There have been an astonishing amount of applications for the London Lifestyle Awards this year, totalling just over four thousand! This has since been whittled down to short list of approximately two hundred - not a task for the faint hearted! The nominees are all hoping to scoop an award for their contribution towards the buzzing and thriving capital. Here is a sneak preview of just some of the prestigious titles up for grabs:

'London Member's Club of the Year' 'London Bar of the Year' 'Outstanding Contribution to London' 'London Live Music Event of the Year' 'London Hotel of the Year'

Voting has recently begun and will now run until the end of September, and the end of what has been an exciting summer for London. With many aspirational personalities and influential companies hoping to make their mark at the awards ceremony, this year is set to be the most exciting show to date.

London's exciting summer all started with the Queen's Jubilee public holiday and continued with one of the best Olympic games the world has ever seen. All eyes have been on the Capital to see what it can offer in terms of World-class entertainment and hospitality. The awards are always a classy event and have been supported over the years by the likes of Boris Johnson and even young Prince Harry.

Despite our current economic state, London has really shown that they still know how to put on a show. It has proved that hospitality is still very much a booming trade in Britain, with many renowned companies proud to call London their home. In times of such hardship, it really is refreshing to host something the nation can be proud of.

Home House of London (it's all in the title) are hoping to retain their crown of 'London's Member's Club of the Year'. Steeped in history and nestled deep in the heart of the Capital, Home House really is a venue second to no other. Offering out-of-this-world luxury and the very best customer service, this unique venue is a real gem and one we hope will stand for another three hundred years of British turbulence and prosperity.
