Tuck the extra piece of the scarf underneath it in the back. Additional adjustments are made where necessary pulling the fabric back across the head. Fit it into position the scarf using pins and staples to keep the scarf in place. For longer pieces of cloth, cutting using a scissors is appropriate so as to get required size.

Head scarves worn by men in many parts of Asia may be permanently formed and sewn to a certain foundation. Scarves can come as long as five meters for men. Colors worn by men are green, black and white which signify paradise, death and peace respectively in Islam. They can be large or modest according to the culture and religion. The turban hat signifies tribe and social standing of the wearer. Sikh men wear head gears all the time and Muslims mainly reserve them for religious leaders, the sheiks and imams.
