Street Music, Rap And Hiphop

Hip hop is a kind of street music that's comprised mostly of emceeing and deejaying. The other two components that complete the four aspects of hip hop are graffiti and break dancing. As hip hop grows into big business, these four components are constantly being merged with others like clothing trends and slang.

Hip hop music consists of rhythm and blues. Hip hop Music is substantially affected by jazz and black music. Hip hop music was started during the mid 1970s amongst the black American population. Hip hop songs has its own roots in the soils of black gospel music. Formerly, the subtle distinctions between diverse varieties of music were not known. People did not take notice of the different versions. It was in the voice of Bob Marley or Robert Nesta Marley that Hip hop Music were recognized.

Hip hop Music includes rapping and audio mixing. Rap Music was popularized by the inner-city teenagers residing mainly in areas of Mississippi and the back wards of New York City. Rap Music became a well known method of storytelling. The songwriters composing their lyrics bring to notice the quandaries of mundane lifestyle in the inner cities. The strategy usually used in this genre of music is verse, alliteration and rhyme. Often reggae music is dubbed as black humored. The uses of musical instruments are least in this genus of music. In the contemporary world, hip hop Music has become an incredible way of expressing dissent and rebel. By the beginning of 2000, rap music secured its place in the world music charts.

Rap is a kind of music that stemmed from hip hop culture. Hip hop is a lifestyle with its own lingo, dress code, etc. Hip hop as a musical melting pot is still developing. It is now more eclectic, borrowing from soul, jazz and live instrumentations. Rap is a type of music in the hip hop culture. Hip hop and rap vary in three main features; musical attributes, tradition, and community message. Rap is a combination of poetry or poetic lyric, beats, and their rhyming. The subject of rap can differ from relationships to commercialism. Rappers like to make references to love, sex, violence, socio-political issues, crime, race, and anything that depicts their street life. Hip hop is a lifestyle which includes rap, graffiti art, break dancing, and DJing. An important form of hip hop was Jamaican dub music. An important technique in Hip hop is beatboxing, a form of vocal percussion, which involves the art of producing drum beats and musical sounds with mouth, tongue, and lips. Singers synthesize the lyrics to fast-paced music that is often used as a background to dance routines. Hip hop is all about soulful singing.

The popularity of street music is also evident in fashion. Hip Hop fashion continues to influence mainstream fashion in general. The market share of hip hop driven fashion businesses is maintaining growth. As long as interest in hip hop music and culture continues, so too will the motivation for hip hop fashion.
